A Guide to the 1879 s Reverse of 1878 Morgan Silver Dollars
By David C. Wang

Prior to David Wang’s Guide to the 1879 s Reverse of 1878 Morgan Silver Dollars there was much confusion about how to attribute the 16 different 1879s Reverse of 1878 varieties. I and several other advanced Morgan silver dollar specialists collaborated with Dave on this effort, the result of which is the only reference that exists to attribute the various varieties of this classic major variety. Recently, a new variety was discovered that would not have been possible without the use of this book, and several of the known varieties have now skyrocketed in price above and beyond the premium attached to the so-called common 1879s Reverse of 1878 silver dollars. I strongly recommend you buy this book for your library. You might have one of the rare ones, or you might be able to find one hidden in your local coin store or at a coin show.
